Pool Party Fun

Yesterday we had our first play date hosted by one of the moms in our mom & babes group. She lives in a gorgeous house in Port Moody that includes an indoor pool! It was the perfect size and depth for a small group of mommies and lots of fun.

Tallan had a bad morning and a long, late afternoon nap so we arrived late and many of the moms were already leaving, but it was still good fun...and Angie and Aili came late too so the nudies met again for some water fun - this time, dressed :)

One of the moms brought this cool baby float that I am trying to find - they come in all different fun shapes. She had one in the shape of a car that I am sure Tallan would love, but that one went home before we got to try it out :( Hopefully these play dates will continue as we rotate moms and houses. As for our "house", I guess we'll have to wait some time before offering to host...sigh.

Tallan had another of great grandma's arrowroot cookies. Looks like he really enjoys them :)


Then Tallan went to work constructing the molecule for genius...



Yay, the anniversary flowers are still alive! Too bad there haven't been any open houses or showing for our place so they could be put to use. These flowers looked gorgeous on our dining room table. We had to move them to the "office" to get more sunlight for them. Our poor diningroom doesn't get much sunlight. We also had a dozen gorgeous salmon coloured roses too, but most of them have kicked the bucket. I'm afraid I don't have much of a green thumb. There's a magnet on our fridge that shows a picture of a withered plant and read "Martha Doesn't Live Here" - and boy she sure doesn't! We had to combine the ones that survived with this arrangement.
