Boxes of Fun and a little Goodbye

Tallan has really taken to small spaces and loves to play with our laundry basket and boxes. Daddy decided that Tallan could have a play house without a backyard afterall. Seems pretty happy to me..

So Auntie Jenn is heading out to Saskatchewan - yes, Saskatchewan. We went down on Thursday night to see her off. Kelly's place was all packed up, but not so much Tallan didn't have a great time with this bathroom sink rack - a perfect walker!

Auntie Jenn got a lot of smiles from Tallan's visit.

Kelly had a big string of licorice that we shared - some more eager than others...

After a nice dinner at Red Robin's, we said our good-byes and took one last picture under this bright, classy-looking fluorescent light outside Kelly's old apartment. It was so bright it looked like they were all being beamed into heaven. But alas, the brick wall tells the real story :)

It was a long night and Tallan fell asleep in the car on the way back home. It was a pretty good night for him, though. Only 3 wake ups. We'll take it!!

The next night, we thought we'd give the pool float a whirl in our soaker tub. Perhaps it was a little small...

Since Tallan had so much fun with the activity table at Aili's, we picked one up for $10 on Friday. He seemed to enjoy standing up. Those are Daddy's hairy legs in the background waiting to swoop in if needed :)

He has a handle on sitting at the table too - mm mmm, baby legos. Mommy's little student already at his desk. The box to his right is his school work.
