You can't see them that well in the above picture, but they are right in front of the neighbour's garage. Tallan even got to feed them some of grandma's apples!
An hour or so later, we are ready to go trick or treating. Poor Elisa had a really rough night the day before so she slept through and didn't get a chance to go out in her little bear costume. But here goes our little lion!
I'm not sure what Tallan thought about the whole thing, but he seemed to have a good time. Grandma gave him his first bag of Halloween treats but after knocking at the first door, he tried to give Surj (grandma's neighbour) his bag from grandma. After we quickly corrected him, he started getting some goodies from his first doors on Halloween.
He also enjoyed choosing candy...
And playing with giant pumpkins...
But lugging around a bucket of candy sure tires a little guy out...
We ran into some really friendly houses...
"Well, alright. Just one more treat..."
Some even waited at the door for us to arrive :)

We finished off the night with some fireworks with Grandpa. Tallan really seemed to enjoy the fireworks - I wonder what he was thinking?
And here is the loot - minus a few eaten on the return trip home....hey, it's a long trip!
