Some Updates

So here's some more news since the last time I posted. Last week, Tallan made a pee pee and a poo poo in his potty!!! He hasn't been regular, but he's doing it! How amazing. We are so proud of what a big boy he is becoming :)

Elisa will be 5 months old in a matter of days and Tallan will be 2 years old on Saturday. Yikes!! How time flies. I've been both overwhelmed, and had the time of my life. Tallan cracks me up all day. What would I do without my wonderful children?

Daddy decided that we didn't have enough pictures of Elisa, so he took some random pictures of her while she was smiling. Poor girl - Daddy didn't have the decency of put her diaper or her clothes back on before taking pictures. Good thing it's easy enough to crop photos so we can still share her smiles!

Elisa has really taken to playing in her exersaucer. It's been a lifesaver - especially now that she has such an independent heart and wants to sit or stand all the time. Tallan loves to play with her by standing outside the exersaucer and showing her all her toys. Here I am unsure if he is yelling the name of a toy out or trying to bite her. Umm...could also be a kiss. Don't ask me why her eyes are glowing...

He'll even show her his frogs...but only at a safe distance. "No fogs, baba."

Elisa is a warm bunting bag one of Mike's coworkers bought for her. It is incredibly soft and has the added sweetness of bear ears.

Tallan loves broccoli but can't yet tell the difference between cooked and uncooked broccoli. These pictures just don't do justice to what is happening in the moment (due to bad lighting and lots of animation). But Tallan took off with a raw crown of broccoli and tried to eat it. Then tried to strangle it for tasting so bad.

Elisa loves her exersaucer.

Tallan also loves it but is a bit too tall for it now...even his bent up knees appear to be folded up.

We decided to go to the "Festival of Nativities" at the end of November which included a beautiful musical concert. We dressed the children up warmly - and I couldn't help trying to put them in matching outfits :)

Although Tallan isn't interested in posing for photos much anymore - we had to be quick...but he was still quicker.

There were some neat nativities from all over the world.

This giant one had some sheep that Tallan wanted to pet like dogs. We had to stop him from trying to run off with one of them. A shepherd at heart, I guess!
