Beating the Heat

With the house sweltering during the heat wave, we packed up the babies and headed to the closest water park. Mike found this cute little park only minutes away. It was perfect.

When we don't make it to the water park, we have Tallan's inflatable pool filled with cold water on the balcony. He loves it out there but Daddy always closes the screen door so Tallan doesn't run in and out dripping water all over the floors. Tallan doesn't like to feel excluded and checks on us frequently. "I know you're in there..."

Whenever Elisa cries, Tallan runs over, gives her a kiss and pushes her around the house in his chair. Ellie always seems to enjoy the stroll - although it could be smoother if Tallan didn't push so fast and didn't steer into quite so many walls and chairs and...
