Our Backyard
Daddy has been having some fun fixing up our little backyard now that the weather is drying up and the dirt isn't so muddy. Tallan had a blast discovering the yard for the first time - it's tiny, but a good size for him and like a park at home! We went to Home Depot and bought him this hanging outdoor swing in the shape of a car. He loves it and for the first few days he wouldn't let us take him out of it. For a while we thought we'd have to figure out a way to bundle him up in some blankets and keep him swinging through the night :) The swing is high - probably a good 4 feet off the ground, but Mr. Mu adores it. It sure makes it hard on short, pregnant mommy as she tries to heave her little man in and out of it though.
Ta da! Daddy's retaining wall project. We're planning to put some shade plants in there, but haven't decided on which ones yet.
Tallan loves to hang out outside with Daddy as he does yardwork. Tallan does some gardening...
Eats some dirt...(silly Tallan, there aren't even any little blond girls around)...

Later inside, so Mommy doesn't get jealous of all the help he's given Daddy, Tallan helps Mommy figure out which pans to use to cook dinner in. He even puts a toy in the pan to mark his favourite. "So, Mom, which one's it gonna be?"
