So we've been trying to teach Tallan how to use a fork and/or spoon. It's been great motor skill practice, and he seems to really enjoy the independence...although he isn't completely independent yet :)
This morning Tallan teaching us that eating cereal without a spoon is just as easy and twice as fun!

Tallan has learned that not only are farts hilarious, he can mimic their sounds by blowing on partially deflated balls, balloons....and bellys!! Here Tallan demonstrates by giving daddy some raspberries...

Tallan gets a little impatient waiting for dinner and offers to help mommy take the hot dish out of the microwave for her.

He is getting tall and on his tippy toes he can reach most items close to the edge of the counter now. That's how he got those oven mitts... and put them on. He also got a hold of this block of cheese the other day. We apparently can't get dinner ready fast enough!

Daddy quickly gets a camera to document the cheese monster's attack on our block of cheese. Exhibit A shows teeth marks on a newly opened package of cheese...

Tallan has been really fond of cheese lately. And wontons. It's our backup food for when he doesn't eat much all day. He rarely refuses choose or wontons. So smart parents keep some on hand for such an occasion.
