1st Birthday Party

It was a very busy weekend with us hosting Tallan's first birthday party. Grandma, great-grandma, and great-grandpa came over from the island for the event. Great-grandma made him a cake. Yes, Winnie the Pooh is holding up a #1 for his "first birthday". She gets busy cutting up the cake into baby friendly pieces :)

We had two sets of guests - the morning nappers and the afternoon nappers. Unfortunately our camera battery ran out before we could get our afternoon friends, but we were able to get some pictures earlier in the afternoon.

Grandma's playhouse was a huge success with Tallan and friends alike. Everyone had a turn under its small roof. Tallan had a great time entertaining his girlfriends...

Tallan is happy to share his toys and is interested in what his friends do with them...

Tallan gets to try some of great-grandma's signature cream cheese icing. I think he liked it :)

Tallan keeps his pet balloon on a tight leash. He already lost a couple to accidental "sharp fingernail grabbing". Happy Birthday my wonderful baby boy!
